The installation Stories from see sides embarks on journey through time as ambassadors from small Islands, reflect on their childhood memories from their see sides. The work explores the fundamental question of human existence and seeks to highlight the boundaries between aesthetic experiences and the reality in the storyteller’s childhood day to day lives. The aesthetic experience is not always to be found where expected. The stories expand our horizons and remind us of the importance of saving the planet for future generations. Stories from the small Islands highlights the hope that future generations will have the potential to experience childhood spirits, aesthetic emotions and beautiful experiences in spectacular of ways as the ambassadors could in their childhood. The installation included five discussion tables with tablecloths with the worlds oceans.
